Actress Aunjanue Ellis and director Christine Swanson spoke to members of the African American Film Critics Association about their new film FANNIE, a short film created to honor the memory and work of civil rights activist Fannie Lou Hamer.

Her name is barely mentioned or recalled these days, but with Director Christine Swanson and Oscar nominee new short 'FANNIE' all of that is about to change.
